Bradford, UK — 22 September 2026: A special cultural celebration highlighting 100 years of Black history and community heritage is set to take place in Bradford as part of this year’s Black History Month programme.
Organised by Black & Interracial Women in Bradford (BIWIB), the event, titled “10 Decades”, will bring together theatre, stage performance, dance and music in a celebration centred on the experiences, contributions and heritage of Black communities.
The programme is being presented under the theme “…in honouring Our Communities”, with organisers using the performing arts as a platform to reflect on history while celebrating the people and communities who continue to shape Bradford’s cultural landscape.
