On Wednesday, 8 July 2026, thought leaders, academics, policymakers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders will gather at the Embassy of Ethiopia, London, for a landmark event exploring how culture and creativity can strengthen partnerships between the United Kingdom and Africa.

Organised as part of the Bradford African Festival of Arts (BAFA) 2026 programme, this special engagement, themed "Co-Creating Sustainable Futures: Building UK–Africa Partnerships Through Culture, Creativity and Innovation," aims to foster meaningful dialogue, collaboration and long-term partnerships that drive sustainable development across both regions.

A Platform for Innovation and Collaboration

Hosted in partnership with the University of Bradford and supported by the Embassy of Ethiopia in London, the event will examine the transformative role of African cultural identity in shaping creative industries, entrepreneurship, education, research, and international cooperation.
