The Spelling Bee Nigeria is in its 8th season in Nigeria organized annually by Peat Philips Foundation.
The 8th season is unique in the sense that Peat Philips Foundation currently holds the franchise for the Intercontinental Spelling Bee and winners of the national competition in Nigeria will be featuring in the 2021 Intercontinental Spelling Bee in Dubai.
The Nigeria qualifiers are currently in camp at the DeMeros Hotels preparing for the competition in Dubai.
Hon. Fateema Aduke Mohammed made a surprise visit to the Spellers at the camp to motivate and encourage them to do excellently well at the Spelling Bee Olympiad in Dubai
