About Us: 
Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Developmentn (CEPASDAFRICA) is a global pragmatic and passionate youth led non-governmental organization founded in 2014, registered in Nigeria with corporate affairs commission in 2018 under the company and Allied Matters Act 1990 of Federal Republic of Nigeria

CepasdAfrica focus on Peace Building, Education, Entreprenurship/Innovation, Youth Empowerment and Leadership. CEPASDAfrica specifically pushes to ensure the implementation of UNSCR2250 in UN member states in Africa.

Our mandate is to address and proffer solutions to the root causes of violent conflict in Africa also ensure policy formulation and implementations for global practices in peace building and education. Our priority is to redefine the narratives and rekindle the passion for nation-building in the youths thereby making them agent of Peace and development. Also CepasdAfrica is a platform where the youths find a single purpose as patriots, agents peace and change in Africa.

We are taking holistic measures in addressing violence extremism and to ensure peace, social justice and policy formulations in peace building and peace education to meet global practices. CEPASDAFRICA Promotes UNSCR2250 #youth4peace, education, entrepreneurship and innovation towards achieving sustainable peace and development in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large. Our mandate is to foster and advocate for SDG goals and AU Agenda 2063. CEPASDAFRICA currently operate in 20 African countries including Nigeria, India and Bangladesh
Our prospects to inspire the 21st century youths to imbibe the culture of peace and tolerance and advance entrepreneurship and innovation.

We believe that in other to achieve a sustainable development there must be a peaceful environment. We are making giant stride in the areas of entrepreneurship, education and peace building to encourage the youths to become peace ambassadors, peace builders and champions of peaceful coexistence thereby imbibing the culture of peace and tolerance irrespective of ethnicity, nationality, region or political affiliation for the economic growth and development of Nigeria, Africa and the world at large were peace where tranquility shall reign.

We are making indelible mark to ensure that the youths discover and utilize their latent potentials for sustainable development through innovation. We are driven by our core principles of uplifting and putting smiles on the faces of those affected by conflict, violence, terrorism and war. Our priorities are on youths, women empowerment and child education also for the well being of the young generation and as well leading advocacy campaigns against violence, conflict, terrorism and other emerging situations especially by natural or manmade causes as us climate change, drought, poverty and unemployment in Africa and the world at large.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development (CEPASD.AFRICA) has created real values and made significant impact over the years, we have reached and touched about 5000 lives since Inception we monitored NAPE student’s election in Ebonyi State University Abakaliki to ensure a peaceful conduct of the elections. In January 2015 we participated in ‘Vote Not Fight’ peace Campaign by 2Face Idibia to ensure peaceful general elections. From 2015 we have participated in UN international peace day celebration organized by Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution to advocate for peace around the world peace

Since 2015 we have advocating for peace through our Facebook page Peace begins with me and I stand for peace campaign. In 2015 we advocated for peaceful elections and created the culture of peaceful coexistence. In January 2018 we participated in the Hope for All Nation program at IDP Camp Durumi Area 1, Abuja to carry out general hygiene sensitization campaign as well advising them on peaceful coexistence

Similarly in April 2018, we visited UVD orphanage home at Apo resettlement Abuja to distribute educational material encouraging them on the importance of education. In March 2018, we partnered with Strong Women Charity Organization SWCO train about 500 Anaku youths in Anambra State with various skills acquisition in April 2018 we visited the home for the disabled people in Karimajiri Abuja. On 27 May we visited the UVD orphanage home with a program titled A Day with the Pacesetters to celebrate children’s day with the orphans. On 31st July, 2018 we partnered with JCI and Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation for Peace is Possible Nigeria advocacy Campaign in Abuja. On 22nd September we partnered with Goodwill Ambassadors for #peaceNow I stand for peace advocacy campaign in Abuja to mark the international day of peace.

On 21st September we participated in the 2018 International day of peace with the theme: the right of people to peace. On 21 September 2019, We held side event and participated for international day of peace event hosted by IPCR. Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development is a peace advocacy, education, entrepreneurship and leadership organization CepasdAfrica over the years we have been engaging in advocacy programs in Nigeria and Africa. In May 2019 we host our program #ThinkPeace ActPeace with UNYPD, a peace education campaign for secondary school's at Government Science School Maitama Abuja.

In march we joined peace ambassador agency for Nigeria Youth Peace Summit also on September 21st for Miss Ambassador for Peace. In April 2019 we join FES-Nigeria in two events of multi stakeholder’s peace forum on peace and security in Nigeria. We partnered SDG festival of Idea in carrying out a week SDG awareness campaign in localizing the SDG. On 8th August 2019 we partnered with the youth wing of Women working group on peace and security in sub sahara Africa to host 2019 Election Retrospect at IBI.


In August 29, 2019 we successful hosted Nigeria Youth Summit with the Theme: Transforming Education where over 100 youth benefited from event. On 30th we join AMAAFRICA go carry mental health awareness tilted the Journey to discuss issues of mental health and possible solutions to that effect. In October 16, 2019 we partnered GYHMA to host Youth Health Mental Conference in Abuja and Ghana. On November 16, we partnered AMAC to host End Violence Against Women at the work place. On November 28, 2019 we hosted First anniversary with theme the role of NGO in social transformation.

We are currently partnering with Voluntary Service Overseas for National Youth Engagement Network to engage two communities in Abuja in area of education and livelyhood. We have been part of youth civic engagements programs of YIAGA, ActionAid and VSO and others CepasdAfrica have been featured in many newspapers, television and radio programs. The Kano state chapter have trained students on the use of computer (CBT) to write Jamb examinations also paid the school fees of some students in Kano state Nigeria. We are working in partnership with other NGO’s in setting standards the organization was established with the objectives of achieving sustainable peace, quality education, youth entrepreneurship/innovation, leadership and SDG. Our strategy is to solve problems through innovation, technology and advocacy campaigns programs to achieve sustainable development Africa and the world at large.
